I know what you mean about writing taglibs.  I wrote my first one, it had
one tag with only one parameter, this week after reading a question in a
Struts support group email that piqued my interest enough to try writing a
taglib.  If you need any help, let me know and I'll try to help, though I'm
not sure how I might be able to assist you.

Thanks David for the input. I haven't written a taglib before, but I don't
mind submitting a patch to allow a cell to be dynamically styled. The
"trick" is deciding on a syntax and defining a few business rules.

I'll post another thread with a proposal.
