The arrows are set up in the css styles. Check the examples, specifically
the source for http://www.displaytag.org/example-sorting.jsp and the
referenced stylesheet http://www.displaytag.org/css/screen.css. The sort
columns get the sortable, order1, and order2 styles, which look like this:
th.sortable a {
background-image: url(../img/arrow_off.png);
}
th.order1 a {
background-image: url(../img/arrow_down.png);
}
th.order2 a {
background-image: url(../img/arrow_up.png);
}
