I found the problem and there is a fix path attached to issue http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/DISPL-272 I had implemented the clone() method of the PortletHref class incorrectly. The details of the problem are in the Jira issue. You can apply the patch and re-compile right now to fix the issue. I'd imagine Fabrizio can get the fix into CVS shortly.

Hi Eric,

I haven't gone through the DisplayTag source code, but
I would be willing to help if you could point me in
the direction where the links are being generated. If
you think you can put the fix in yourself faster than
explaining it to me, that's fine too.

Thanks,
Eric

Eric,
Actually I did a bit more testing and I'm seeing
the same issue under uPortal 3. I'll take a look at the code and
let you know what I find.

I'm not sure how the portlet extension would be

you post the URLs generated for the Next> and

the portlet support and when not using the portlet
support?

Hello Eric,

I hope you don't mind me e-mailing you directly
about your update to
the portlet support for displaytags. First, let
me say thank you! I
had been hoping to have this functionality in
Vignette Portal 7.2.1
and it looks like you have solved it for me!

Unfortunately, I have run into one small issue
and I'm not sure if
it's just me or not. When I implemented the
update from the current
development cycle, when I click on my Next> link
to go to my page two,
the link produced is pointing to the last page of
my results. Do you
think this is something that you could help me
with. I can provide
library versions, source code, etc... whatever
you need to help me.
Thanks for your help,
Eric
