As one of the main people who disputes that :^), it's not a matter of allowing the selection over several pages, it's HOW you do it. Yes, please, search through the archives to find these discussions. > Anyway, if you belong to that half of mankind who thinks it is necessary > (I > can imagine situations where I share that view), you have to do the > bookkeeping yourself as far as I know. I absolutely agree that there are plenty of times that it needs to be done, just not in the way described. Again, find the archived discussions. I explain precisely why the means of doing this that Ramki is problematic and the standard way of handling this sort of interface. This stuff isn't just my opinion: you won't find any professionally released interface (and I'm not limiting this to Web clients, but including fat clients, desktop apps, etc.) anywhere that does it the way described, but instead will find them all doing the way I've described. OK, and all that said... yes, you have to manage this all yourself. displaytag includes no direct facility for handling control values within the tables. It DOES provide everything you need to do this yourself (i.e. access to the data for each row). >> -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- >> Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Im >> Auftrag von SourceForge.net >> Gesendet: Freitag, 12.
