Hello displayTag users,
Does anyone know a way to merge the cells as part of grouping instead
of leaving them as blank cells?
As I understand displayTag's grouping feature allows us to display a
table that would ordinarily look like this:
--------------------------
| value1 | value21 |
--------------------------
| value1 | value22 |
--------------------------
| value1 | value23 |
--------------------------
like this:
--------------------------
| value1 | value21 |
--------------------------
| | value22 |
--------------------------
| | value23 |
--------------------------
Basically, it avoids repeating the same value in successive rows. Is
there any way to get it to also merge the cells in the rows and
columns where the value is the same? The result would look like this:
--------------------------
| | value21 |
--------------
| value1 | value22 |
--------------
| | value23 |
--------------------------
Currently, we have some custom javascript code as a workaround, but I
was wondering if there is a way to do it with displayTag.
