Hi
I am trying to display a column which is a xml message... everything works fine except that when I try to use the maxlength property of display:column tag so that I can see some initial characters of the message... with an elipsis (...) sign at the end..., it does not work.
The xml tags dont appear at all when I move the mouse over the field to check if it is actually working.
For example: if the message is
<inputElem> Value </inputElem>
When I move the mouse over the column I only see Value appears but the tags disappear. How do I fix this? Is this a bug? Please help
