I've got some fairly large tables, 17,000 rows and up, and sorting of these tables takes a good few seconds. The problem is, that it's not evident to the user that the sorting is taking place i.e., sorting the column results in an immediate page refresh and then nothing happens for a few seconds (can be 5-10) and suddenly the page does another refresh with the columns sorted.
I'm wondering if there is any hook to put up a loading graphic or pop-up window while the sort is taking place and remove it once the sorting is complete.... Has anyone tackled a similar issue and can offer advice? Thanks much! -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Is-it-possible-to-place-a-loading-graphic-on-the-screen-while-sorting--tf3414482.html#a9514431 Sent from the DisplayTag - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
