I've avoided upgrading from DisplayTag 1.0 to 1.1 to avoid some
compatibility issues, but now one of my developers has done it for me,
and I've found a problem that I can't seem to reconcile.
Every table that uses a TableDecorator fails on export, claiming that
any column created using a decorator doesn't exist in the object. Can I
no longer use a TableDecorator and export? I have a production app that
is now failing whenever I export due to this bug.
Oops, looks like this is a known problem. Issue DISPL-298....I see a
version 1.1.1 available. Where is it? What really bothers me is that the
Jira bug was opened in March of 2006, there is a version of 1.1 that is
dated December 2006, and this bug isn't fixed. Where can I find the
1.1.1 library? This problem is not mentioned in the migration docs at
all, even though the development team has been aware of it for a year
and a half.
