[displaytag-user] checkbox export problem

Hi,

 I am using displaytag 1.2 version. I am trying to use its checkbox
functionality in table. It is working fine. Only problem is while exporting
it to excel, checkbox field is coming as

<input type=""checkbox"" name=""_chk"" value=""1""/>
due to which, when user tries to open it in excel sheet viewer he doesn't
see anything. Is there a way that this behavior could be fixed or i can skip
this column from being exported.
