[distcc] MS Visual C++ support

Hi,

Has anyone looked into supporting MSVC with distcc? Like gcc, it is able to produce pre-processed source (client) and is capable of compiling pre-processed source (server). Really, these seem to be the major requirements in supporting a new compiler.

Because distcc is supposedly ported to Cygwin (I don't have a Windows machine handy right now), it shouldn't be too difficult to add MSVC support. I'm willing to do the work, but don't quite know where to start, and don't want to start from scratch if somebody else has looked into it.
