Can you explain how you propose to detect "the end of a build"?
Ouch, I didn't realize that make doesn't really give you much to go on. I suppose to easiest thing to do would be to create two versions of my host file, including one without the slowpokes which I could use for smaller builds. In any case if a better solution ever presents itself I'd be glad to help out with the implementation.
