Hi,
Although configure doesn't have problems with the Red Hat 8.0 gtk and
gnome libraries, it doesn't build. This is what it finds:
checking version of gtk+-2.0... 2.0.6
checking version of libgnome-2.0... 2.0.2
checking version of libgnomeui-2.0... 2.0.3
checking version of pango... 1.1.1
And this is why it fails. (The first warning is all over the place, but
not a critical error).
