I had not tried it when I initially asked. I bought the atom based X7SPA-H motherboard and while it was in route I came across this blog about someone using the same motherboard: http://sorenragsdale.livejournal.com/19875.html
The main point of the article being the on-board NICs cutting out daily. So I purchased a cheap PCI-E nic just in case. It turns out that has the chipset I mentioned in my original post. I'd come across some other post saying that chipset was not supported on open solaris, but the free driver was available. Now that I have the system assembled, I haven't had any real problems with the on-board nic cutting out, so I haven't tried the yukon yet. If I do I'll update this thread. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ distribution-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/distribution-discuss
