Hi, I have some irritation about post installation configuration on EON.
After installed from CD to USB flash via install.sh, I made some changes to network interfaces, created a ZFS pool and volumes, and iSCSI target. EON website says, now is the time for updimg.sh, so I tried to run updimg.sh with parameter /mnt/eon0/boot/x86.eon - but /mnt/eon0 is r/o - it's the CD, exactly like /mnt/eon1 and /mnt/eon2. So I rebooted without CD in drive, but now /mnt is completely empty. So what to give updimg.sh as parameter? Mounted /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 (this is my USB flash drive) and run updimg.sh again. At least the network config is now available after reboot, but no ZFS + iSCSI config, maybe because /etc/zfs is a symlink targeting to non-existent /mnt/eon0. So what's the way of best practice to make this whole thing run correctly after reboot? Thanks in advance, Cosmo -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ distribution-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/distribution-discuss
