dre, After posting earlier, I rebooted and started another transfer to a non-deduped share. When I returned home, I found the system in the same state as last night - unresponsive via the network, could ping rge0 from console but nothing else. /var/adm/messages contained all info from reboot to current. I've included the output of all of the requested commands/files. I removed the "." from the nsswitch file so it would open easier in a browser.
