GPLv2 is not a problem, as GPLv2 does not define any rule to prevent "collective works", which is what you create when you combine software from different works. GPLv3 is a problem as it tries to forbid "collective works" with something that is not a "basic system component". Thus GPLv3 seems to me to be a problem legal problem that has a noticable risk of getting sued.
