Hi Lexje, Correct, installing EON on a SSD would have 0 performance gains.
Installing EON to hd is not something I've done. It would require some experimentation and possible put back of bits I added to boot EON. It would involve possibly dd'ing the EON image to the hd mounted somewhere. Installing the respective boot bits and then put back, boot trial and error.
