Hi, This reminds me of 2 things: 1. U3 usb stickware http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U3 Is provided on some USB sticks and contains a cd iso image like partition. I seem to remember other similar utensils exist. Might be worthwhile to check the USB stick brand? It seems Stor N Go may contain such a slice.
I'm not aware how EON osol will respond to such a situation. 2. I've once used an elderly server that has caused me quite some headache. The reason was this machine had some extra memory somewhere (cache or other) that was recognized as a 'small' harddisk or partition. This caused trouble with linux raid partitioning. Just my 2 cents.
