A suitable ISO image for burning to CD may be downloaded free of charge. As
you are in Tasmania, your nearest mirror (that I am aware of) would be
Pacific Internet in Melbourne.

To download using a web browser (I do NOT recommend using Internet Explorer,
BTW) use this link:
<http://openoffice.mirror.pacific.net.au/contrib/iso/en/ooo_114_20041221_en_allplatforms.iso>

If you have access to a suitable FTP program, it may also be obtained from
<ftp://mirror.pacific.net.au/pub2/OpenOffice/contrib/iso/en> by anonymous
FTP.

This file may be directly burned to CD media, and contains the installers for
each of the main platforms OpenOffice.org (OO.o) supports, plus a selection
of templates, clip-art and other useful extras. The current version is 1.1.4.

The image is updated as newer releases of the software arrive, and will be
completely re-designed when OO.o v. 2.0 arrives later this year.

You might also talk to your ISP about setting up a local mirror for OO.o, if
they haven't already done so (I'd suspect that they do actually mirror many
download sites already, and OpenOffice.org would quite probably be among them
- I know my ISP does...). If they do run a mirror, they you would simply
substitute <their_mirror> for <mirror.pacific.net.au>, the rest of the URL
would be the same.

This is correct.

The licenses <http://www.openoffice.org/project/www/license.html> permit
resale of the product.

:) No payment is required should you download.

If, however, downloading is not an option for you, then please contact me
directly, as there are a number of companies and individuals who sell CDs.
