Dear Sirs, I represent a new accounting organisation in the The ICPA is currently undergoing a period of major growth
and I am managing the magazine/web content of the ICPA and that includes a
promotional CD-ROM. The first draft of the first CD-ROM is about to prepared
for internal distribution. Once we have agreed the content and layout we will
be distributing this CD-ROM to existing and prospective members: a run of
around 1,000 copies per quarterly distribution in the first instance. The CD-ROM will include such matters as Taxation materials Financial accounting materials Spreadsheet materials Human Resource Management materials Mortgage materials Our own newsletter and archive And other accountant and business specific materials We would also like to distribute Microsoft Reader software
and Open Office Software among others. I am a user of Open Office and have no
hesitation in recommending it to ICPA’s community and hope you can see
you way to approving us as an authorised CD-ROM Distributor. Please let me know what else I need to do to progress this request
and I look forward to hearing from you soon: we are about to produce the first
draft, as mentioned above and would like to include the Open Office software
(release 1.1.4) if at all possible. I have copied my colleagues from ICPA in on this letter for
