It seems incredible to us that an
individual can so easily tear down what the founders of our country fought so
hard to obtain and protect. Many of these changes are changing laws and the
rights of individuals today. To conform to modern society is now becoming the
norm. The moral and ethical values this country once held with pride are slowly
being stripped away. It was placed on our hearts to create a collection of songs
regarding topics that affect our society today. Written from a unique
perspective, “Been a While…” is one of these songs.
