Hi.

First of all, I'd like to commend the OpenOffice.org team for
producing an excellent product. I've installed it on all my computers,
and have absolutely no intention of removing them.

I was just browsing through the OpenOffice.org's site and looking
through the distributing section when I came across this sentence:

"A Community Distributor may be a person or group who has gained
permission to distribute OpenOffice.org and use the official logos."

I'm interested in being a distributor but I don't have the resources
nor the time to be a full time Community Distributor, at least not
yet. However, I'd like to distribute it to family and friends on
preferably CD-ROMs. Do I have to get permission before I can do that,
or can I just do that anyway? Can I also use the logos of
OpenOffice.org (e.g. the CD labels, CD packets and business card
logos) or must I have permission to use them?

All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
