Hi, I'm a tech at a computer shop on the Gold Coast Australia. We have
been using Ooo for quite some time, mainly on our Internet Cafe computers
in place of Microsoft Office, and have found it to be very stable.We have had
some of our customers, asking where they can purchase it, and
we have made copies for them, at $5 per cd.Upon browsing www.openoffice.org to
see if there is any updates to the
package, I came across, the distribution side of things, and would like
for this business to become a distributor for Gold Coast region, as, as
far as I can tell, no one else seems to be supporting it in this region.
Any help your team, can provide us, to promote your product will be
greatly appreciated, and even though we do still sell Microsoft Office to
customers that ask for it by name, we generally promote Open Office, and
over Open Source Community Projects, as we believe this is better for the
future of the IT industry, instead of the takeover tactics, that Microsoft
tend to adhere to.
