Hi there We run an Internet cafe / communication centre run entirely on Linux (Ubuntu - Breezy) using OpenOffice and other open source software. The local community has shown us incredible support and the shop has grown from strength to strength over the past 6 months. So much so that we have taken much larger space and attached a 12 seat training centre that went live today that as of next Wednesday will offer the Open ICDL.(Ubuntu Breezy thin client) We are also offering affordable workshops in basic computer usage run on the OpenOffice suite. On every ICDL and Basics course we are reserving 4 seats for people from disadvantaged backgrounds that can attend the courses free but pay back in time doing IT skills development work in the training centre and the local community. We would love to be distributors of OpenOffice we have access to many SMME's through our other skills development projects and continually promote the use of Open Source Software.
