Dear Sir/Madam,

We are a new IT company that has just started trading in Trowbridge, UK, and I was hoping that we can have permission to install Openoffice and supply it to customers on CD media, it will be the English version 2.0.2, no modifications just an extra for customers and an alternative to MS office. The only charge we will make is for the media and will include the following on our website

We provide some free software with our systems these are supplied under the GNU Lesser General Public License, see here for more information - http://www.openoffice.org/licenses/lgpl_license.html

Our computer systems come with Openoffice.org which is a free office package fully combatable with Microsoft Office See http://www.openoffice.org/ for more information or to download your own copy.

I have had permission from media portal and ClamWin to provide them and was hoping I can have permission to include open office

And also included on our site is

All these software titles are installed for free for you, we do not charge for them, if you wish to purchase a verbatim copy, the software on DVD to save you downloading, please see our software section, this is £5 which covers the media, packaging and delivery, no charge is made for the software.

We include the disclaimer as well

These binaries (installable software) are in development. They may not be fully stable and should be used with caution. We make no claims about them.

And links to the office website and info so customers can download them selves

I have read and got all the license info from your site and I am hoping I have covered all the required bases as well as joinging the mailing lists

With thanks

Matthew Gill
