Dear distribution hackers, I've now merged most of the "lost patches of OpenMoko's OpenEmbedded" into the 2.6.24-rc7 tree, with the exception of a few that were already applied, and the highly fix-gta01-flowcontrol2-2.6.22.5.patch for which I've added a comment to http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=788
The patches merged are: fix-EVIOCGRAB-semantics.patch # heavily edited, please verify) gta-vibro-pwm-suspend.patch iis-suspend.patch # minor whitespace changes) gta02-sound.patch # CONFIG_PM change wasn't in mainline yet) s3c24xx-pcm-suspend.patch s3c2410-usb-switch.patch # with some changes, see bug P#876 For the future, please don't hide patches somewhere along the distribution chain. The touch screen bug made us chase a supposed hardware or kernel regression for a while, and the Glamo VRAM size patch caused some confusion by appearing in some patches people made on top of it, and then disappearing again. Note: I didn't put these changes into the 2.6.22.5 tree, since I hope we'll be able to switch completely to 2.6.24 rather sooner than later. Remaining 2.6.24 issues / to do: - GTA01 probably still not working (didn't try, but none of the recent changes look as if they'd fix GTA01) - need to rebase to rc8 - NAND hardware ECC is acting up in some cases, spewing out tons of errors - Werner
