ok. i experienced some major joy. OE is building software. installing it into install dirs - but never packaging it up into ipk files. hooray! it ONLY does this (properly build packages) if i do
make rebuild-package-pkgname if i do make openmoko-devel-image it only does the configure/build/install - no pkg create. thus all my fs images are not containing software that was built. my box just eats lots of cpu cycles and disk space :( why? seen this before? am i just cursed? -- Carsten Haitzler (The Rasterman) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
