In fact, if you go 0.6c8 to 1.0 instead of going to 0.6, I know I'll
be happy as the package maintainer in Fedora/EPEL. As far as RPM is
concerned, 0.6 is less than 0.6c8, so I'd have to do creative/gross
things with epoch inflation just to make the package update smoothly
to 0.6 final.
