I'd be in favor of :
- keeping the new PKG-INFO Tres proposed
- maintaining both setup() arguments (like license and licence)
- documenting the new argument
- adding the warning in the 'check' command
(unless everyone is fine with having a install_requires argument and a
different PKG-INFO field)
I'd prefer that to having 2 arguments that mean the same thing.
fwiw, I'd also prefer calling the PKG-INFO field Install-Requires.
