That's the zc.buildout effect: zope-based applications are still using 2.4 so everytime a zope-based app is built, setuptools for 2.4 is downloaded from PyPI. The current status of 2.5/2.6 support is unclear to me in Plone land for instance, I thaught it was effective. 2.4 has to be supported in any case. > > My TahoeLAFS project, which I hope will be an early adopter of "Distribute", > I mean "setuptools2", I mean "Zup2lsNG", currently still supports Python > 2.4, but it is a bit of a hassle and I'm hoping to drop support for Python > 2.4 before we switch to Zup2ls anyway. > > Regards, > > Zooko_______________________________________________ > Distutils-SIG maillist - [email protected] > http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/distutils-sig > -- Tarek Ziadé | http://ziade.org _______________________________________________ Distutils-SIG maillist - [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/distutils-sig
