I doubt zdaemon works on Windows. I once made all the Zope2 zopectl scripts work on Windows. But that was by avoiding zdaemon and transparently using actual Windows services for start/stop/restart commands instead. On the matter of cmmi, I think with enough tools of the MingW project installed you could make things work. But I wouldn't particularly trust the stability of things compiled this way.
