You can disable the prune option with --no-prune
Well, aside from the hassle this causes with having to manually exclude
all the .svn files and the like, it also doesn't work on setuptools or
distribute:
bin/docpy setup.py sdist --no-prune
usage: setup.py [global_opts] cmd1 [cmd1_opts] [cmd2 [cmd2_opts] ...]
or: setup.py --help [cmd1 cmd2 ...]
or: setup.py --help-commands
or: setup.py cmd --help
error: option --no-prune not recognized
