It was not my intention to be rude, and I don't believe I was. This
discussion has been ongoing for a long time, and I have just recently
asked questions (which of course has been ignored) about this. This is
a discussion that has been going on for a long time, more than a year,
at least, yet noone who says distutils needs to be scratched and
something else written does something about it.

I've pointed this out repeatedly, and been ignored. Perhaps I used to
strong language this time, but on the other hand, I wasn't ignored
this time.

The discussion is pointless. If you want something better than distutils, do it.
