Unfortunately this does not install from source.
"easy_install -eb tmpdir requirement && easy_install
tmpdir/projectnameinalllowercase" will, though. (As will
"easy_install -eb tmpdir requirement && cd tmpdir/projectnamelower &&
python setup.py install", though this latter choice may or may not do
an egg-based install.)
