Generally speaking its not whether a package has been updated that matters, its whether the package is in use: if its published in debian/suse/fedora, if its getting downloads, then taking over the name is going to have negative consequences. That said, this has had 0 downloads per the bigtable statistics (0 for all recorded time) so in this case that seems unlikely. -Rob -- Distutils-SIG mailing list -- distutils-sig@python.org To unsubscribe send an email to distutils-sig-le...@python.org https://mail.python.org/mm3/mailman3/lists/distutils-sig.python.org/ Message archived at https://mail.python.org/mm3/archives/list/distutils-sig@python.org/message/QL5V6LJN2ML624OEIXQTENQA5JS2F4JQ/
