Sorry but the answer is no. The reason is that chapter "High-level method: embedding com.xmlmind.ditac.convert.Converter" is as detailed as it could be. I mean, we really don't see what we could add to it. Note that the Javadoc of the API of XMLmind DITA Converter is found here: http://www.xmlmind.com/ditac/_distrib/doc/api/index.html Last but not least, XMLmind DITA Converter being open source software, the full source code is included in the distribution.
