We found out that the accentuated characters in DITA files are replaced

I wasn't able to find
the reason for this.

Have you already seen this?

No.

Note that our extensive WHC (XMLmind Web Help Compiler, http://www.xmlmind.com/whc.shtml) tests use some XHTML files containing accented characters (French) and even Cyrillic characters (Russian).

Do you have any idea of what could be the problem?

Sorry but I don't see.

Please explain how we can reproduce this problem here at XMLmind:

http://www.xmlmind.com/ditac/support.html#ditac_support_policy

Please do not forget to specify which is the OS/Java Runtime/locale (lang, default file encoding, etc) of the computer on which there is no problem and which is the OS/Java Runtime/locale of the computer on which there is a problem.

Ditac version : 2.3.0
WHC version : 1.1.4
