That's right. Currently, ditac does not produce *any* HTML metadata from
the topic sources.
I'd love to see shortdesc be used for
abstract or description. I'd also like to see indexterms be displayed as
keywords in the metadata.

There is currently no easy way to do that.
We have clearly underestimated the importance of HTML metadata. We'll
try improve this in the next release (not yet planned).
