No, not at all.
Notes whatever their types are processed using *exactly* the same code.
Therefore if it works for plain notes and for tips, then it should also
work for note type="restriction".
I'm sorry but I cannot spend some time trying to reproduce a problem
which seems to be technically impossible. If you are sure to have found
a problem, then please send us a sample document allowing us to
reproduce it.
This is really needed because may be the problem is triggered by your
specific document (e.g. invalid note).
