How to configure Ditac to instruct AH formatter to use specific set of
PDF options (passing parameter –i <Option-settings-file> to AH)?
In order to make ditac invoke Antenna House Formatter command-line to
generate PDF, one generally passes this kind of option to ditac:
-ahf "C:\AHFv6\AHFCmd.exe"
Example:
ditac -ahf "C:\AHFv6\AHFCmd.exe" out/manual.pdf manual.ditamap
However
-ahf "C:\AHFv6\AHFCmd.exe"
is in fact a *shorthand* for:
-foconverter AHF pdf 'C:\AHFv6\AHFCmd.exe -x 3 -p @PDF -d "%I" -o "%O"'
Therefore you need to directly pass to ditac something like this:
-foconverter AHF pdf 'C:\AHFv6\AHFCmd.exe -i C:\My\Options.cfg -x 3 -p
@PDF -d "%I" -o "%O"'
Note the absolute filenames for AHFCmd.exe and for your options file.
As usual this kind of configuration option is best stored in your
ditac.options file.
