Does .ditac intermediate files contain the topicmeta-node of the main ditamap file as cascaded to topics of the map?
Yes, ditac is supposed to implement: 2.1.2.3.6 Reconciling topic and map metadata http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/os/spec/archSpec/reconciling-topic-and-map-metadata.html
I have two ditamap files, from same app, where in one them the .ditac has two sets of metadata nodes in topic (one from map and one from topic). The other (same app) does not, and I cannot figure out why.
You have found a bug which will be fixed in next release (planned in about 2-3 weeks).
Currently the metadata found in a topicmeta is copied to the prolog of the topic but only when the corresponding topicref is a direct child of the map. I mean it does not work for topicrefs nested into other topicrefs.
Sorry for this very stupid bug. -- XMLmind DITA Converter Support List [email protected] http://www.xmlmind.com/mailman/listinfo/ditac-support
