Suggest cracking the case open and see if a capacitor or something else
in the internal PSU looks toasted or is running hot. In case of extreme
luck it might even be the WLAN card that has an internal short and needs
to be removed, which is easily done. 

Anyway, AFAIK no schematics of any Slim device is to be found on this
forum. The question has been raised many times over the years.
