Hi I wanted to share a raspberry pi based player that I built. It's a Raspberry Model B with a HifiBerry DAC and TinyLCD mounted to provide a display. They stack together quite nicely
17269 17268 and it sits ontop of a radio 17270 The powermate controller allows you scroll menus, hit select etc. Here's a video http://youtu.be/mZS1cnbthOs . Thanks to Jivelite, it pretty much worked out of the box as the powermate just has to send UP, Down and Click. I had to do some work on the now playing window so that it shows an overlay and cycles through the various options. The IR receiver was added to allow control via remote control.
