Hi, 

I couldn't see a setting to disable the LED on the powermate, However on
the raspberry pi the powermate is controlled by Gizmo Daemon (gizmod).
Gizmod lets you script control and allows control of the LED.  So you
can add a statement such as

Gizmod.Powermates[0].LEDPercent = 0

into  gizmod python  script to turn the LED off.    Of course this only
works once the script is running, so the LED is on until  the script
initialises.
