I have a v1 display and an original "official" black plastic case ... and the default (rotated 180 degrees) is right for me. I can imagine that this would be the story for many early adopters - who may well also be the sort of people who come here. But no big issue if this changes because early adopters are probably also able to work out how to adjust it back again.
