So 0.9.24.0 now remembers position.  As a safety measure in case you
have removed or re-arranged monitors in between starts, the Windows will
check that its entire vertical bounds and at least half of its
horizontal bounds intersects with an existing monitor.  If that test
fails the windows is centered on Monitor 0, and the size is rechecked to
make sure it does not exceed the bounds of the monitor.  That should
cover it.

As for DPI change awareness...  I have implemented this before on
Windows 8.1 and the original version of Windows 10 (boy, is it a pain in
the you know what).  Due to limitations then existing, I decided I
didn't like the results all that much.  Even Microsoft's flagship
products suck at this and the real problem is the OS and the Win32 API. 
I just don't bother with high DPI monitors on Windows (even though I
have one, I don't use it).  The very latest Windows 10 may have some
improvements and I'll look into it (only because you said you would "be
in awe", haha).  I can always make it an option.
