I connected my KNX smart home bus system to Squeezebox Server via CLI. So I control for example "Play", "Pause" and volume with common & stylish wall switches from Busch Jäger, Gira and other. Without need to walk wo a remote control oder doing several figures with smartphone (unlock, tasking to app, ...). Also my small children can so do basic control without killing Logitech Controllers ;0). And more important: I can LOCK/ UNLOCK usage auf Logitech receivers. It´s already cool and depends on these publications:
