Accurate assessment. But the first time may take you a bit longer. If
you follow the "how to"s in Michael's second link, column on the left,
you can easily be up and running in under an hour, if you don't stop to
think about what you are doing (a problem I have). If you do get stuck,
do a google search of "squeezebox forums xxxxxx" where xxxxx is your
problem, and there will be a thread here on it. I find the web search
easier than the forum search.

oh, and note - picoreplayer is changing faster than the "how to's" so
the documentation might not look exactly the same as what you see during
setup.

Ronnie's comment on buying from a reseller is a good one, but you might
not find one. While a pi 4 is ideal, I have one server (only) running on
a 3b+ and it's fine. You should be able to find a 3b+ easier and
cheaper. Then when the pi supply issue is resolved (?) you can get a 4
from a reseller.
