This month, Django adopted a policy of notifying the django-annoucne mailing list of the date and approximate time of the upcoming security release, as well as the severity of the issues. This is to aid organizations that need to ensure they have staff available to handle triaging our announcement and upgrade Django as needed.
Django 1.10.3, 1.9.11, and 1.8.16 will be released on Nov 1 2016 around 1400 UTC. They will fix several security defects with maximum severity "moderate". For details of severity levels, see: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/internals/security/#how-django-discloses-security-issues -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "django-announce" group.
