Unfortunately it's even worse now, all non-breaking spaces are gone.

Not sure if Transifex is messing things up or my description was
unclear. There are six translation strings that need a non-breaking
space. The "Translators" notes mention this.

For example in Vim I can insert a non-breaking space by pressing the
keys (in insert mode)

        CTRL-V u 0 0 a 0
